Kalikkam Siddhha Medicine Eye camp was organised freely for people at Painthamil Palli. Siddha medicine extract called Kalikkam was administered into the eyes through the efforts of the Rotary club of Ambasamudram east. In this event, the PAG S. Esakisaravanan, IPP Atham Ilyas, and Rtns. Kumar, Ganapathyraman attended. 230 people benefitted. 5 public volunteers from the village also helped the club.The camp commenced at 7:00 AM and continued till 9:00 AM, ensuring that all attendees received individual attention and care. The Rotary club members meticulously managed the registration, eye examination, and Kalikkam administration process. Many expressed their gratitude for this unique opportunity to experience the healing benefits of Siddha medicine. The successful completion of the camp was a testament to the dedication of the Rotary Club of Ambasamudram east and the collaborative spirit of the community. The club plans to organise similar camps in other villages in the near future, further propagating the benefits of traditional Siddha medicine.

The Club's members donated 1,04,000 to a patient named Sankar Ganesh, who was a main activitist in Ulavaara Pani, in Tirunelveli. The in coming seceretary Rtn Paramasivan was major donor for this. other member donated money as much as they can. President Namani, gave the cheque to the patient's care taker. Rtn Paramasivan, moved by Sankar Ganesh's dedication to Ulavaara Pani, pledged to continue supporting such initiatives in the future. He emphasized the importance of recognizing and assisting individuals who tirelessly work for the betterment of the community, especially in the Tirunelveli region. The Club saw this as a continuation of their commitment to social responsibility. A small ceremony was held where President Namani formally handed over the cheque to the caretaker, expressing the Club's hopes for Sankar Ganesh's speedy recovery and a return to his invaluable work. The members present offered their personal wishes and blessings, a true testament to the strong bond within the Club and their collective desire to make a positive impact.

The event was helpful to plan further projects and share past events. During the time, a cheque was given to the Kidney transplant beneficiary.The meeting commenced with a review of the minutes from the previous gathering, followed by updates from each committee head. The club members participated in welcoming the Cervical cancer awareness program by welcoming the PAG Arumuga Pandian and team at Qadri Restaurant.The event saw enthusiastic participation from our members, who ensured the smooth flow of the program. Following the welcome address, PAG Arumuga Pandian delivered an insightful presentation on Cervical cancer, highlighting its causes, prevention, and the importance of early detection. The team further elaborated on the screening procedures available and addressed the concerns of the attendees in an interactive Q&A session. On the occasion of Chitra Pournami, a one-time meal was provided at Thuyagam Old Age Home, and two-time meals were provided at Timnia Women's Mental Health Home, organized by Rtn Mr. Ganapathi Raman and Rtn Kumar Sundaram on behalf of Ambai East Rotary Club. 180 old age, mentally challenged people benefitted. Rtn Chandra Shekhar, Rtc Dr. Daniel Particiapted. The event was a resounding success, bringing much-needed comfort and sustenance to those in need on this auspicious day. The smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries were testament to the thoughtfulness and generosity of Ambai East Rotary Club. Rtn Mr. Ganapathi Raman and Rtn Kumar Sundaram ensured the smooth execution of the meal service at both locations. Our Fellow Rotarian Dr. Daniel hosted a Feast on the event of Easter and Rtn Rayar Suresh arranged for Fellowship. The event was helpful to plan further projects and share past events. 2 Guests of our Rotarians participated. The house was brought to order by President Navamani who welcomed everyone. IPP Eliyas recapped the previous meeting's minutes and it was passed without objections. Treasurer Muralidharan then presented the financial report, showing a healthy balance, which was also approved. Kumar Sundaram updated the members on the ongoing updates in projects in the website as well as Facebook page. Dr. Daniel was thanked profusely for his generous Easter Feast, which was enjoyed by all. Rtn Rayar Suresh's fellowship activities created a jovial and collaborative atmosphere, making the meeting productive. The presence of the 2 guests, brought by Rotarians, was duly noted and we hope they enjoyed a glimpse into the workings of our club. Discussions were held regarding the upcoming Blood Donation Camp and the proposed tree planting drive in the local community. Members actively participated in brainstorming sessions, offering valuable suggestions and volunteering their time and expertise. Sivakasi Arasan Ganesan, Rotaract student at Polytechnic Institute Training classes on leadership skills development program was conducted by Sivakasi Club. Totally 120 students participated. Rotary Club of Ambasamudram East President Navamani conducted the training class for the students as the trainer. The program focused on communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, all crucial for future leaders. Students actively participated in group discussions, role-playing, and case study analysis. Ganesan, visibly impressed, thanked Navamani and the Sivakasi Club for the valuable opportunity. He mentioned the training would definitely help the Rotaract students in organizing events and managing projects efficiently. The Rotary Clubs of Amabasamudram East Viridhunagar conducted heart checkup for under 18 kids and free surgery was done for 3 kids. one of the kid Ethiksha undergone the surgery and published in the media. This noble initiative has brought immense relief to families who couldn't afford such critical medical care. The identification of these children and the subsequent free surgeries are a testament to the Rotary Clubs' commitment to serving the community. Ethiksha's successful surgery and the media coverage it received has further amplified the importance of early detection and intervention in heart conditions among children. The Rotary Clubs are planning to conduct similar camps in other rural areas to identify and assist more children in need. They are also seeking support from philanthropists and corporate sponsors to expand the reach of their healthcare initiatives. The hope is to ensure that no child is deprived of a healthy life due to lack of access to timely and affordable medical treatment.

We are now focusing our efforts on the next camp, hoping to reach even more children and families. Approximately 35 Rotarians and doctors participated in the event.

Our Club Member Rtn Suresh's Family function held at veeravanllur. The Club members participated in that. It was a wonderful occasion where the family members and the Rotarians met each other. Took Group photos in the event. It was an wonderful evening.The fellowship was excellent, with lots of laughter and camaraderie. We all enjoyed the delicious food and the warm hospitality extended by Rtn Suresh and his family. It was a pleasure to witness such a happy occasion and celebrate with them. The event truly strengthened the bond between the Rotarians and their families, fostering a deeper sense of community within our club. We all wished Rtn Suresh and his family all the very best for the future.

Baby Sai Shree Heart surgery was successful and discharged from Hospital Date: 18/03/2025 Location: Ambasamudram Project Cost: 0.00

Based on the free heart camp by Ambasamudram East & Virudhunagar Club joint camp, Baby Sai Shree Heart sugery was successful and discharged from Amrita hospital. The joint effort proved to be a lifesaver. Club members from both Ambasamudram East and Virudhunagar are overjoyed at the news of Baby Sai Shree's recovery. Arrangements are being made for her safe return home, where she will be welcomed by her family and well-wishers. The clubs extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and staff at Amrita Hospital for their dedication and expertise in ensuring the surgery's success. This case further strengthens the resolve of both clubs to continue organizing such free heart camps, reaching out to those in need and giving them a chance at a healthier future. Donations and support are always welcome to keep this vital work going.

On the occassion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Dr. Daniel from Ambasamudram East Club sponsored the lunch for Mentaly retarted people. 35 People from the Home and 4 Rotarians in addition to Dr. Daniel participated in the event. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter as the guests gathered for the special lunch. The dining area was decorated with colorful balloons and banners showcasing messages of inclusion and support. Each participant was greeted with warm smiles, creating an environment of acceptance and camaraderie. As the lunch was served, Dr. Daniel took a moment to address everyone, expressing his gratitude for their presence and emphasizing the importance of celebrating diversity. He shared inspiring stories of resilience from individuals within the home, igniting a sense of pride among the participants. The meal was not just about food; it was about fellowship. The Rotarians mingled with the guests, engaging in lively conversations and games that brought everyone closer together. Laughter echoed as they played icebreaker activities, forging new friendships that would last beyond this special occasion.
