The Ambasamudram East Rotary Club began operating independently on May 20, 2022,
starting with just a
few members and now boasting 26 dedicated individuals.
Charter president Mr. S. Sivasubramanian is the Man behind founding the club. He was
succeeded by
Mr. P.
Adam
Eliyas,
and the current President is Mr. S. Navamani. Rtn. Sivasubramanian
continues
to excel in his role,
now serving as the Rotaract district chairman. The club meets twice a month in its
own
building located at
Murali Gardens,
Veeravanallur, fully
committed to serving the community.

Kalikkam Siddha medicine 3rd Eye camp was organised by Rtns Kumar Sudnaram, GanapathyRaman of our club

Kalikkam Siddhha Medicine Eye camp was organised freely for people at Painthamil Palli. Siddha medicine extract called Kalikkam was administered into the eyes through the efforts of the Rotary club of Ambasamudram east. In this event, the PAG S. Esakisaravanan, IPP Atham Ilyas, and Rtns. Kumar, Ganapathyraman attended. 230 people benefitted. 5 public volunteers from the village also helped the club.The camp commenced at 7:00 AM and continued till 9:00 AM, ensuring that all attendees received individual attention and care. The Rotary club members meticulously managed the registration, eye examination, and Kalikkam administration process. Many expressed their gratitude for this unique opportunity to experience the healing benefits of Siddha medicine. The successful completion of the camp was a testament to the dedication of the Rotary Club of Ambasamudram east and the collaborative spirit of the community. The club plans to organise similar camps in other villages in the near future, further propagating the benefits of traditional Siddha medicine.

Regular Club meeting held on 17/05 at club's building. All of the members attended the meeting. President Mr. Navamani Presided the Meeting joined by IPP Eliyas, Treasurer Muralidharan, secretary Murugesh. Other Members were present. The event was helpful to plan further projects and share past events. During the time, a cheque was given to the Kidney transplant beneficiary.The meeting commenced with a review of the minutes from the previous gathering, followed by updates from each committee head. Mr. Muralidharan presented a detailed financial report, highlighting the club's healthy standing and outlining allocated funds for upcoming initiatives. Mr. Murugesh provided a summary of completed projects, emphasizing the positive impact on the community and acknowledging the efforts of the volunteers involved. The discussion then moved onto proposed projects for the coming months, with members brainstorming ideas and offering suggestions for maximizing outreach and effectiveness. A significant moment of the meeting was the presentation of the cheque to the Kidney transplant beneficiary, a gesture that exemplified the club's commitment to supporting those in need within the community. The recipient expressed their heartfelt gratitude, sharing their inspiring story and acknowledging the club's vital role in their journey to recovery. The meeting concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Navamani, who thanked the members for their active participation and reiterated the importance of collaborative effort in achieving the club's goals.
